ROCKFORD HIGH SCHOOL

IB AUTHORIZED WORLD SCHOOL FOR THE MYP, CP and DP PROGRAMMES

Rockford High School has been an authorized IB World School since 2020.  What does that mean for your student?  We offer courses under the MYP, CP and DP programmes which prepare students for success in the workforce and the rigor of higher education.  We challenge students to demonstrate new knowledge through critical thinking and collaboration, and we help create international-minded citizens who think locally and act globally. Recognized in institutions of higher education across the world, IB courses offer the potential for students to earn significant college credit across several subject areas.

We are so proud of our teachers and staff to continue to strengthen their skills and subject content to keep the program moving forward.  One of the most attractive features of the IB program is how flexible it is for each learner. All students will encounter IB principles and approaches to teaching and learning.  Our students have a say in which path they take in order to fulfill their college or career goals. In this way we are able to offer every student at Rockford High School the experience in grades 9-12 they deserve.

Our CIS and IB Programs have saved RHS families $1,530,100 since 2020.

In 2024, our families saved $162,250 with IB credits
